A. As a reminder to all of our patients - if you need lab work done outside of the Pediatrics East office it is your responsibility to know the lab designated by your insurance plan. Please call your insurance carrier first as they can change reference labs without notifying your or us first.

A. If your insurance company requires a referral, please be certain that you have it in place before you see a specialist. Insurance plans will not back date referrals, and you may be held personally responsible for charges if you do not have the referral you need.
