2018 Kids and Baby Expo

1. Breastfeeding Education

Whether you’re a new mom or a mom of four, it may be worth visiting the breastfeeding education area, where local experts will be ready to answer your questions and provide information on how to get started and how to stay motivated. Representatives from the Memphis Area Lactation Consultants Association, Shelby County Breastfeeding Coalition, and area hospitals will also be providing plenty of resources for moms at any stage of the breastfeeding journey. If you’re currently breastfeeding or have a little one, stop by the nursing and diaper-changing station hosted by the Memphis Moms Blog. While you’re there, be sure to enter the drawing for free breastfeeding items, including nursing pillows and other accessories.

2. Tips on How to Keep Your Child Safe

Parents, grandparents, and caregivers alike will want to stop by the Child Safety Zone to learn more about how to keep children safe at home, in the car, and elsewhere. Live demonstrations on how to properly install car seats and home safety devices will be given by local experts. The Brian Callies Foundation and Ministries will also provide free identification cards for children with photos and fingerprints, as well as free gun locks and information on how to set up an emergency healthcare folder for your little ones. Special door prizes, including car seats, pack and plays, and safety items will be given away, so make sure to stop by and enter the drawing!

3. Shopping

Visitors to the Mid South Baby & Kids Expo will have the opportunity to purchase one-of-a-kind items not sold in stores, including clothing, accessories, tools, and more. Don’t miss the Children’s Fashion Show sponsored by Summer Kids and the Baby Wearing Show sponsored by Baby Wearing International of Memphis to see the latest clothing trends for kids.

4. Visit with Industry Experts

Industry experts and professionals from local hospitals, clinics, schools, and other organizations will be available to answer questions, offer samples, share resources and guides, and give away prizes.
